Booking Terms & Players Policy

Upon Arrival

Guests are welcome to use the changing rooms or enjoy refreshments at Café 28 before proceeding to the staging area.

We recommend arriving at the club at least 1 hour before your tee time to take full advantage of our practice facilities, which include a TrackMan powered driving range, a dedicated short game area, and a putting green.

The first tee is a short drive from the clubhouse. All players must arrive at their starting tee at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled tee time. Late arrivals may result in loss of tee time and no refund.

 

Golf Shop

Our fully stocked Golf Shop offers a comprehensive range of men’s, ladies’, and junior equipment, accessories, gift items, and leading golf fashion brands.

Daily from 5:30 am to 9:00 pm

 

Driving Range & Practice Facilities

Each player is entitled to one complimentary warm-up bucket of balls prior to play.The chipping and putting greens are available for use before your round. Golf balls must not be removed from the driving range under any circumstances. Players found doing so may be asked to leave the facility.

Practice balls are for practice areas only and must not be used on the golf course.

 

Tee Time & Booking Policy

All players must check in at the Golf Shop prior to play. Bookings are subject to availability and club discretion.

 

The club reserves the right to adjust starting tees, pair groups, or modify tee times to ensure optimal course flow and guest experience.

 

Pairing Policy

Bookings of fewer than four players may be paired with other golfers. If a tee time adjustment is required to accommodate pairing or operational requirements, the reservations team will contact you directly where possible.

 

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

All cancellations, amendments, or reductions in player numbers must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled tee time to avoid charges.

No-shows or late cancellations may be charged the full applicable green fee.

 

 

Rates & Eligibility

Abu Dhabi Golf Club reserves the right to apply rates at its discretion. The UAE Resident Rate applies to residents of the UAE only. Proof of residency may be requested at check-in. Junior rates apply to players aged 16 years and under.

Incorrect rate selection may result in rate adjustment at check-in.

 

Dress Code

All players must comply with the approved golf course dress code.

​

For gentlemen: Collared or mock-neck golf shirts. Tailored golf trousers or tailored shorts

​

For ladies: Collared golf shirts or golf blouses
Tailored trousers, skirts, or medium-length shorts

​

Denim, cargo shorts, beachwear, and athletic gym wear are not permitted on the golf course.

The club reserves the right to refuse play to guests not adhering to the dress code.

 

Clubs & Equipment

Each player must have their own full set of golf clubs when playing on the National Course. Rental sets are available for guests without clubs. Please enquire at the Golf Shop in advance, subject to availability. Sharing of clubs during a round is not permitted.

 

Golf Carts & On-Course Conduct

Golf carts are subject to availability and weather conditions.All drivers must hold a valid driving license and adhere to cart signage and staff instructions. Carts must remain on designated paths where instructed. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to golf carts, GPS units, course infrastructure, or club property. Disruptive behavior, excessive noise, or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the course without refund.

 

Pace of Play

Players are expected to maintain the recommended pace of play at all times.Course marshals are authorized to request players to speed up play, skip a hole, or allow faster groups to pass through. Failure to comply may result in removal from the course.

 

Safety & Etiquette

Players must ensure the safety of others at all times.Always shout “Fore” if there is any risk of a ball striking another person.

Repair pitch marks, rake bunkers, and replace divots after play. Respect fellow players, staff, and the condition of the golf course at all times.

 

Food & Beverage Policy

It is strictly prohibited to bring external food or beverages onto the premises.

All food and beverage consumed on property must be purchased from Abu Dhabi Golf Club outlets.

 

Weather Policy

Play may be suspended due to adverse weather conditions including lightning, extreme heat, or unsafe course conditions.

In such cases, the club’s refund or rain check policy will apply at management discretion.

Members and guests use all club facilities at their own risk. Abu Dhabi Golf Club, its owners, operators, directors, employees, and agents accept no liability for loss or damage to personal property, or for injury or death occurring on the premises, except where required by law.
